Application Integration.

Integrating multiple applications together into a seamless solution can present unique challenges. Redundant data and duplicate entry can often result without adequate integrations. At Bombora Software, we can provide a number of different solutions for tying systems together.

Database Integration - For loosely coupled systems where modifying either application is not possible (e.g. packaged applications), database level integration is usually the best solution. We can design triggers and batch jobs to synchronize information between different applications.

API Integration – For applications where the source code is available and a business tier or API exists, combining the codebases can often provide the optimal solution. Tight integration such as this can provide a better user experience and allow updates to all systems to be treated as a single transaction.

Messaging Integration – For applications that are on different architectures, different networks or come from multipe sources, a message-based system is often the best solution. Message-based integration utilizing XML messages can provide a platform neutral way to exchange data through custom webservices or middleware like Microsoft Biztalk.
